Memories

This afternoon, I found some old pictures. I like the one with my father when I was 18 years old and also the one with my grandmother on my father side when I was 22 years old. This is the only picture that I have of myself with my father. I love my father dearly; unfortunately he died in a car accident when I was 21 years old. I never had a chance to say goodbye. My grandmother is currently 98 years old. She is amazing. She is really into crafts and I remember when I was very young and making a doll; she helped me out with the apron for the doll. Back then, she was big into knitting, crochet. I love her dearly.

Wow, you don't even look like yourself with short hair!

I'm sorry you lost your dad suddenly. They're such a big part in a girl's life, but at least you got to have him for 21 years.

Where is that picture with you and your dad. It looked like a fun time. Sorry about your dad too, we are lucky to have family as long as we can, and go grandma at 98! keep rockin'!

Thanks Danielle for your kind message.
It is funny the short hair. Also back then, I hardly wore any makeup, not my thing but now I love it; especially blue mascara.
Hi Karen, thanks also for your message. I don't remember exactly where it was. I think it is called in French les chutes du Rhin, Waterfalls of the Rhin (Rhin is a river). I am not sure; it was a long time ago. My grandmother is definitely rocking. I made her a sockmonkey and she was so happy.
Happy Easter to you both!!
Take care.
